Accelerated Flight Training

At Mach Six Pilot Training we firmly believe the best way to safely train pilots—both new pilots, flying for the very first time, as well as experienced pilots who seek to add ratings to their current certificates—is to participate in intensive, fully immersive, and focused training. This is the same technique used by the military and the airlines to train new pilots (but don’t worry, we won’t bark at you!). There are many advantages to this style of training.

Intensive pilot training is very hands-on, you will work with a highly experienced flight instructor, your CFI will guide you through your entire training program. From start to finish you will have the same instructor, and the same aircraft. You will spend each day of the course covering all aspects of flying and the knowledge required for your rating. Accelerated training offers valuable flight experience in ways that a slower training program cannot. We aim to not only to fully prepare you for an FAA checkride, but to go above and beyond the FAA standards. Accelerated flight training will make you a more proficient, safe, and versatile pilot.

This training is called “Accelerated Flight Instruction” for the obvious reason: It is fast-paced, thorough, and very effective.  We use accelerated flight instruction techniques, because:

Accelerated flight instruction is FAST

You can go from zero (no prior flight experience) to obtaining your private pilot’s certificate (PPL) in just 14 days, including your final check ride. Not only will you become a pilot, you will become a safe and proficient pilot!

Accelerated flight instruction is BETTER

Decades of pilot training in both the military and civilian sector have shown that the most effective method of training is full-time, intense instruction. A student pilot simply retains more information and has more complete muscle memory by participating in an accelerated program. Unlike most other flight schools, our program will not allow your skills to get rusty. This will end up saving you money in the end. It really works!

Accelerated flight instruction is SAFER

Compared to a casual training program, where the student pilot flies for a few hours every month, and takes a year or two to complete training, a student who participates in intensive flight training simply learns better. She remembers more, and each lesson quickly builds the knowledge base. A pilot who learns more and immediately practices each technique is ultimately a safer, more proficient pilot.

Accelerated flight instruction is INEXPENSIVE

Compared to traditional, casual programs, that can take upwards of 100 hours of flight time to complete, an accelerated program is ultimately less expensive. There is no additional hourly charge for your instructor’s time—you will have the same instructor, all to yourself, for the entire day or night of instruction. The instructor’s rate is fixed, and you will not be billed for additional instruction fees for the basic course period. In addition, you only pay for the actual hours of aircraft use, and you will fly only the hours needed to train.

Accelerated flight instruction is MORE SUCCESSFUL

A very common problem for traditional flight school programs is people giving up, because the training dragging on for ages, or students quitting their training due to lengthy delays or life events. Accelerated training solves all of these problems. Our program sees a very high success rate for people who are motivated and follow our guidance.
